Household power cord

There are varieties of power cords on the market, you have to choose appropriate one according to your electricity load requirements. The latest technology is flame retardant ( ZR ) household wire. This kind of wire has certain capability to prevent burning, thus to be more secure to use.

• Look at the packaging, national standard power cord tends to do relatively well, neat, higher quality feeling when holding it.
• To open the packaging to look at the power cord inside, the required cover thickness of national standard wire of 1.5 – 6 mm is 0.7mm, too thick means nonstandard, the corresponding inner core is certainly not enough. The cost of the plastic inner core is only 1/6 of the copper price.
• Burn with fire, extinguish within 3 seconds after fire left, have a certain flame retardant function, that is a national standard wire.
• Look at the inner core, the inner core material (copper), the higher brightness the better quality copper is, and with evenly brightness, gloss, no gradation. National standard wire is required to use oxygen-free copper.
• There are certain requirements of the thickness of the inner core, but is not very strict. It should not having a huge mistake, just a minor difference, generally can not tell just by looking with eyes.
• Length, government does not mandatory ask to show measurements. Normally wire without printing measurement is most likely not trustworthy.
• Government requires that wire is necessarily to have a certain identity, the maximum does not exceed 500mm interval will have to show the same identity, normally product brand, manufacturer, and the implementation standards.
